10-year old Colorado resident and master climber, Selah Schneiter has just become the youngest person to successfully climb El Capitan. Schneiter climbed the iconic Nose route of the Yosemite mountain, topping out on Wednesday evening. Her climb was a five-day push up the 3,000-foot wall along with her father Mike—a climbing guide—and his friend Mark Regier. Schneiter told reporters; “I was scared just sometimes". According to Deadspin, Schneiter has been around climbing since she was a baby and scaled Colorado’s Independence Monument on her seventh birthday.
