Alzheimer's Disease Is Linked To Air Pollution

Researchers have discovered the air pollution may cause Alzheimers. Co-senior author of the study, Caleb Finch, stated, “Although the link between air pollution and Alzheimer’s disease is a new scientific frontier, we now have evidence that air pollution, like tobacco, is dangerous to the aging brain.” They learned this by exposing Alzheimer prone mice to polluted air for 15 weeks. At the end of their study, they discovered the 60 percent of the mice had developed more amyloid plaque than they had before, which is a root side effect of dementia.
