Egypt's Deposed Former President Mursi Buried In Cairo
According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, Egypt's former president Mohamed Mursi was buried in a small ceremony in Cairo, one day after he suffered a fatal heart attack in court. The first democratically elected leader in Egypt's modern history, deposed by the military in 2013, was reportedly laid to rest beside the graves of other leading members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Reuters reports that the Muslim Brotherhood has described Mursi’s death as a “full-fledged murder” and called for mass gatherings to mark his passing.
