Patient Experiences 10 Minutes Of Brain Activity After Death
A clinically dead patient at a Canadian intensive care unit showed brain activity for 10 minutes and 38 seconds after they were pronounced dead. After further studies, researchers discovered the patient was experience the same brain activity that occurs when a human is in deep sleep. This inspired them to study more brain activity the moment after death occurs, and they discovered that each person experiences death differently. Researchers still don’t have a clue as to what this all means, but maybe it will be a way to advance human knowledge on what happens after we die.
