Get the deets on a Nolke family secret recipe. Two hints: Cilantro and chili flakes.

1 pound lean ground beef

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1/2 medium onion, finely chopped

4 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons red pepper flakes

Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

1/3 cup milk

1 egg

1 tablespoon butter

2 clove garlic, grated

1/3 cup ketchup

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all meatball ingredients together. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on a baking sheet covered in parchment. Bake for 20 minutes.

For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened slightly.

To serve, add the meatballs to the sauce and cover completely.
