Working Out Can Be Great For The Skin--But Not Always

Published on 07/18/19 / In News & Politics

Working out can positively impact your overall health and well-being in many ways, so it's no surprise that exercise also influences the skin--for better or for worse. According to Business Insider, exercise can give the skin a slight glow and help it look healthier because of the increased blood flow. However, working out can also cause chafing and rashes. Likewise, rosacea might get worse because of the increased blood flow to the skin. And there's always the risk of contracting some kind of fungal infection, like athlete's foot, from the locker room!
