Yoson An Cast As Mulan's Love Interest In Disney Live-Action Remake

Handsome hunk Li Shang will not be making an appearance in the upcoming live-action Mulan remake, but Mulan will have a new love interest named Chen Honghu. Buzzfeed News is reporting that the new character will be played by Yoson An. The rising star, who is of Chinese descent, will appear opposite Liu Yifei's title character Mulan. This is likely to be a breakout role for the young actor, whose previous credits include the HBO Asia series Grace and the upcoming shark thriller The Meg. Yoson An can also be seen in Mortal Engines, which hits the theatres in December.
